Public Talk: The Sacred Feminine in Action
Saturday, 30
th March, 5pm
Venue: Buddhist Library, 90 Church Street, Camperdown

In Eastern traditions, especially Buddhism, the feminine essence lies at the heart of everything, Subtle, mystifying, intriguing, nurturing and pervasive, the divine feminine is dynamic and actually beyond gender. This modern world is fast-paced, materialistic and competitive which causes stress and exhaustion. Feminine aspects such as flexibility, flow and spontaneity need to be reactivated by both men and women so we may learn to live within this ever-flowing wisdom. Rinpoche is the embodiment of the sacred feminine and her life, spiritual vision and humanitarian projects are a living example of how to manifest the feminine in action.

We will then participate in a beautiful candlelight and flower mandala offering inspired from the heart of Khandro Rinpoche.

Ancient Healing Sounds from the heart-the blessing of the profound Chod
Thursday 23 May 7pm / Life in Balance Ayurveda and Yoga, 50 Kauri St, Cooroy, Qld

Admission $25.- (inc. Herbal Infusion and a healthy sweet)
*Limited Places*

Join us for an evening of deep healing sounds from ancient cultures. Rinpoche will give a short introduction, then we settle our minds with meditation. We journey inward with pulsating Didgeridoo rhythms, Native American flutes and meditative sounds by on of Rinpoche’s students before Khandro Rinpoche will perform the powerful ancient healing ritual “Chod”, which works on very deep and subtle aspects of our being.

Chanting and vocal resonance has been discovered by scientists to contain amazing healing qualities. Sounds send healing vibrations to all our cells, tissues, muscles and organs. Sound healing has been used by Tibetan meditation masters for centuries. Chod is one of the most advanced meditation practices - it “cuts” negativity and self-delusion. With visualization and meditative chanting, the Chod practitioner creates relentless generosity that pacifies sickness and suffering. Participants simply relax and allow the sounds and energetic vibrations of this profound practice to cleanse and heal.
